Most of the teaching staff at The Nurturing School didn’t have extensive knowledge and skills to teach reading and writing to the young learners they were assigned to instruct in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The school owner recognized the need to empower these teachers, particularly in the areas of Jolly Phonics and play-based learning, to ensure a solid foundation in early literacy and a stimulating learning environment.
