Problem

Members of the Association of Professional Trainers & Facilitators in Africa (APFTiA), representing diverse industries such as Human Resources, Finance, Project Management, Communication, Mentoring, Coaching, Business, Life Coaching, Training & Development, and Consultancy, faced challenges in leveraging social media to enhance their visibility as industry experts. With the rapidly evolving landscape of digital communication, there was a clear need for these professionals to stay updated on the latest social media trends and techniques to effectively promote their expertise and services.

Approach

To address this challenge, a customised training programme was developed, specifically designed to provide APFTiA members with in-depth insights into social media usage, its effects, and its impact on personal and professional branding. The programme aimed to empower participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complexities of social media, thereby increasing their online presence and influence in their respective fields.

Key Features of the Program

Result

The training had a profound impact on the participants, who not only provided positive feedback but also demonstrated a noticeable improvement in their social media activities. Many members reported increased visibility and engagement on their platforms, which translated into greater recognition and opportunities within their fields. Additionally, as a testament to the success of the programme, the association appointed our CEO, Uzoma Uduma, as the Content/Media Team Lead. Since then, there has been a significant and continuous improvement in the association's digital presence, reflecting the long-term benefits of the training.
